If you enjoy reading books and connecting with your community, check out the new Larimer Connects quarterly book club opportunity for interested community members to build connections and self-resiliency!

This first book will be The Resilient Life by Dr. Susan Biali Hass, M.D., those interested in joining the first Larimer Connects Book Club will meet virtually on Zoom on March 28th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. to connect over The Resilient Life book!

Remember to sign up for spring preparedness classes!

The Larimer County Dare educational program focuses on preparedness, personal resilience, disaster management, community building, and leadership.

The program helps communities to be better prepared to respond to and recover from disasters in our region. The spring class is divided into two seven-hour sessions on April 20 and April 27, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., covering seven ‘modules’ in those two sessions at the Larimer County Emergency Operations Center in Johnstown.

Lunch will be provided.
