Good Dog Behavior Training

Congrats to these pups who have earned the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy!

Train your 4 - 6 month old pup to be a STAR in our upcoming Puppy Class which begins Jan 7th.

Training covers puppy-level obedience (sit, down, come and walking on a leash), strategies for eliminating common behavior problems (biting a toy rather than nipping you), calmness around resources like chew toys and treats, confidence with distractions like noises and walking on strange surfaces.

The class meets every Wednesday at 6pm beginning January 7th for 6 weeks Front Range Natural Pet.

After completing Puppy Training, your pup may qualify for the American Kennel Club S.T.A.R. Puppy certificate. Learn more at akc.org.

Note: Pups must have lived with you for 14 days prior to the start of class and be fully inoculated at least 14 days prior to the start of class. Registration is through City of Fort Collins Parks and Recreation at fc.gov/recreator

An age-appropriate, reward-based class for your 16 week to 6 month old puppy.

Puppy Training Class covers puppy-level obedience, strategies for eliminating common behavior problems, calmness around resources like chew toys and treats, confidence with distractions including noises, walking on strange surfaces, impulse control and cooperative care techniques for grooming and vet care. By the end of class your puppy will perform the following: lie on a mat, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, loose leash walking and relinquish objects to you.

Your puppy will learn to: sit or lie down rather than jump for attention, lie on a target and relax to start training rather than barking, and will prefer to bite a toy rather than nip you.

By completing both Puppy Training Class your pup may qualify for the American Kennel Club STAR Puppy certificate. Learn more at www.akc.org

These NEW! classes are 6 weeks long and will be held at Front Range Natural Pet. Class size is limited to 4 pups and their people.
