Fort Atkinson Historic Preservation Commission

We're accepting nominations for the Historic Preservation Award, given to building owners in recognition of the owners' recent preservation efforts on a historic building. If you would like to nominate a building and/or owner, please visit www.fortpreserves.org for a nomination form!

We hope you can join us for our Old Places Symposium on Wednesday, September 24 at the Hoard Historical Museum! We're excited to have Dave Desimone from Black Point Estate and Gardens speak on why old places are important! Also joining us will be Logan McHone from Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce who will discuss the Chamber's building facade program and Merrilee Lee from the Hoard Historical Museum who will discuss how to research your old building. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served!
