Meet our Actors!!
Alexa Farrell
Why you wanted to be apart of this production
An entire student run production is something Ive never done before. When the director, Nathan Broege, asked me to be a part of this production I was very excited to get the ball rolling and diving into the script. The topics discussed within this script is something that I believe should be talked about so people know how to address these situations. The cast also makes it a wonderfully enjoyable experience to rehearse.
A little info about your character
Janet is Evans mother, a people pleaser and is struggling to uphold her failing relationship with her son. After her previous husband passed away she’s been struggling to find herself and looks for that in other men. She’s like every mother in the fact that she wants to see her son succeed and be happy in the life he leads, but she doesn’t go about it in the best way.
Favorite bird and three other fun facts
My favorite bird is probably the yellow chickadee. Their symbolism is that of courage and curiosity, something I think you have to have as a performer and a person. Plus I think they’re cute.
1. One of my first shows I walked right off the edge of the stage.
2. I’m a Scorpio!!
3. This is the first show I’m designing for!
