Due to budget concerns, Isabelle Neely has been “fired” up to serve you this week.

Turns out you can’t actually fire the employee who: • knows the entire menu by memory
• keeps the place running
• and fixes the register when the owners break it 😅
We couldn't do it without her!

So unfortunately for her… she still works here. Come say hi this week!

Today, we had a gentleman come into the restaurant before we even opened because he was in a desperate situation. He was on his way to a job interview and had spilled coffee all over his resume. He remembered that we’re the only public library in town and asked if he could print a new copy.

So, in the middle of prep lists, opening duties, and the morning rush to get ready for the day… we stopped and helped someone who needed it.

That’s what libraries are. They are so much more than books on shelves. They are access. They are opportunity. They are community. Sometimes, they are the difference between someone walking into an interview confident and prepared… or not walking in at all.

Maybe something simple yet complex for tomorrow's Anything but French Fry Friday...

We first rolled these out back in early 2022 during our Dallas ghost kitchen days, and today felt like the perfect excuse to bring them back for a little nostalgia.

Pulled pork, cream cheese, jalapeño, and all the BBQ goodness wrapped up and fried crispy.
