As we celebrate our nation’s independence, we’re reminded of the greatest freedom of all, freedom found in Jesus.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36
In this verse, Jesus was speaking of freedom from sin and new life in Him.
As we celebrate our nation’s freedom, we are reminded of the deeper freedom we have in Christ...one that can’t be taken away.
We are so thankful for our nation, where we are able to freely gather, worship, and share the Gospel of Christ.
Today, we pray for our country and its leaders…and that God would guide, strengthen, and draw hearts back to Him.
From all of us at FC, have a safe and blessed 4th of July!

You ARE the church. Not just on Sunday mornings, but everywhere you go. The question isn't whether people know you attend church—it's whether they can see Christ in you without you saying a word.
This week's message reminds us that since the veil was torn, the Holy Spirit dwells IN you. That same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead goes with you to work, to the grocery store, to every conversation. Like Sommer's three-year journey loving on her coworker who just accepted Christ—being the church isn't a one-time event, it's a lifestyle of patience, love, and genuine care.
What if instead of asking "What can I get from church today?" we asked "Who can I encourage today?" One person. One conversation. One act of love. That's how we change the world.
Be the church today. Show up. Serve. Pray. Invite. Love.

Jesus gladly went to the cross for sins you hadn't even committed yet. He bled and died for burdens you weren't even born to carry. That's the depth of His love.
But here's the truth: offenses are traps set by the enemy, and people provide the bait. The question is—will you stick your hand in? Offense prevents God's work in your life and spreads like a contagion to those around you. The key? Rise above it. Develop thick skin and a soft heart. Be quick to forgive and refuse to carry someone else's offense.
Proverbs 19:11 says, "It is to one's glory to overlook an offense." When you rise above the trap, you can see clearly and move forward in the freedom Christ died to give you. Don't let offense steal what God has for you.
