We love seeing our Jayhawk family explore the world! 🐦💙🩶 A huge shoutout to Mr. Bass and his wonderful wife, who recently enjoyed an amazing vacation to Boston, MA, and beautiful Rhode Island to unwind and explore! They traveled about 1,725 miles from Forney to get there, taking in some incredible historic sights along the way. 🌊⛵

While exploring the coast, they got to see some of the area's famous maritime history. Fun fact: Rhode Island is home to the famous Southeast Lighthouse on Block Island, which is so historic that in 1993, the entire 2,000-ton brick structure was actually moved 300 feet back from the eroding cliffs to save it from falling into the ocean! We are so glad you both had a safe, refreshing trip and welcome back to school! ⚓💡

Ms. Aldridge spent the 4th of July visiting family in Eastland, Texas! 🇺🇸✨ What better way to spend a holiday than visiting family and making sweet memories together? 🥰❤️
Eastland is about 150 miles west of Forney, making it the perfect road trip for a holiday getaway. 🚗💨 We love seeing our Jayhawks spending quality time with the ones they love! 💙🩵

🏔️✨ Mrs. Aguilar has been enjoying the crisp, cool mountain air all the way in Creede, Colorado! 🌲🌬️ Creede is about 790 miles northwest of Forney, nestled beautifully in the mountains. 🚗💨 Fun fact: Creede was the very last silver boom town in Colorado back in the 1800s, and it is even home to the "World's Largest Fork"—a giant 40-foot aluminum sculpture! 🍴🥈 We love seeing our Jayhawks exploring such cool places! 🥰

Aguilar ha estado disfrutrando del aire fresco de la montaña en Creede, Colorado! 🌲🌬️ Creede está a unas 790 millas al noroeste de Forney, bellamente rodeado de montañas. 🚗💨 Dato curioso: ¡Creede fue la última ciudad en auge de la plata en Colorado en los años 1800, e incluso alberga el "tenedor más grande del mundo", una escultura gigante de aluminio de 40 pies! 🍴🥈 ¡Nos encanta ver a nuestros Jayhawks explorando lugares tan fantásticos! 🥰

Our summer adventures continue! 🏞️✨ Mrs. Songer and her family had a wonderful time exploring the breathtaking Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee! ⛰️🌲 They enjoyed beautiful views and found so many cool places to explore together. 🗺️🤩
The Smoky Mountains are about 780 miles northeast of Forney, making it an amazing destination for some mountain fresh air and family bonding! 🚗💨 We love seeing our Jayhawks out exploring the world! 🥰💙🐦

Galveston is about 260 miles south of Forney, making it the perfect spot for some birthday sunshine and coastal fun. ☀️🚗 We hope you had the most wonderful celebration, Mrs. Fiscal! We are so happy to have you in our Jayhawk family! 🥰🎈

🦁 Wild about summer adventures! 🦒✨ Ms. Velazquez had an absolutely amazing day exploring the Dallas Zoo, which is just a fun 27.5-mile drive from Forney! 🚙💨 Did you know the Dallas Zoo is the oldest and largest zoological park in Texas, founded all the way back in 1888? It is also famous for its incredible Giants of the Savanna habitat, where elephants, giraffes, and zebras all roam together just like they do in the wild! What a wonderful day of learning and fun! 🐦💙🩶

🦁 ¡Locos por las aventuras de verano! 🦒✨ ¡La Srta. Velazquez pasó un día absolutamente increíble explorando el Zoológico de Dallas, que se encuentra a solo un divertido viaje de 27.5 millas desde Forney! 🚙💨 ¿Sabías que el Zoológico de Dallas, fundado en 1888, es el parque zoológico más antiguo y grande de Texas? ¡También es famoso por su increíble hábitat "Giants of the Savanna", donde los elefantes, las jirafas y las cebras conviven juntos tal como lo hacen en la naturaleza! ¡Qué día tan maravilloso lleno de aprendizaje y diversión! 🐦💙🩶

🌲 Making memories that last a lifetime! 🛶✨ Mrs. Thomason and her family traveled 161 miles from Forney to beautiful Broken Bow, OK for a peaceful couple of days! They spent their time exploring nature, relaxing, and just enjoying being together. 💚 With her oldest away at college and her youngest entering their senior year, having this precious time to connect and bond was absolutely priceless! 🐦💙🩶

🌲 ¡Creando recuerdos para toda la vida! 🛶✨ ¡La Sra. Thomason y su familia viajaron 161 millas desde Forney hasta el hermoso Broken Bow, OK para disfrutar de un par de días llenos de paz! Pasaron el tiempo explorando la naturaleza, relajándose y simplemente disfrutando de estar juntos. 💚 Con su hijo mayor en la universidad y el menor comenzando su último año de preparatoria, ¡este tiempo tan valioso para conectar y convivir fue totalmente invaluable! 🐦💙🩶
