At New Life, we believe character matters just as much as skill.

This month, we’re proud to recognize Joseph as our June Pono Award recipient.

Joseph has continued to show what Pono is all about—doing the right thing, staying disciplined, showing respect, and giving his best effort every time he steps on the mat. His attitude and consistency have not gone unnoticed, and he continues to grow not only as a jiu-jitsu student, but as a young man.

Pono isn’t about being perfect. It’s about choosing to lead with integrity, treating others well, and taking responsibility for your actions.
