Forney Fire Department

At Tuesday's City Council meeting, six members of the Forney Fire Department were recognized with a Life Saving Award for their actions during a medical emergency on April 26.

Captain C**t Risher, Driver Jordan Allen, and Firefighters Garret Aldaz, Tristin Williams, Carson Cox, and Stanford Hamm responded to a cardiac arrest call and immediately began advanced life support measures. Through their skill and teamwork, the patient regained a pulse and was alert and talking by the time he was transported to the hospital.
