This week, we recognize our Dispatchers—the unseen, often unheard heroes of EMS. The ones who answer the worst moments of someone’s life with steady hands and calm voices. The ones who turn our chaos into clarity before we even hear tones.

While we’re responding, they’re already there—talking a mother through CPR, helping someone control bleeding, calming panic, gathering the details that can mean the difference between life and death. Every call they take carries weight, and every decision they make matters.

The reality is this: our dispatchers save just as many lives as we do.

And while they’re doing all of that, they’re also watching out for us—tracking our status, keeping scenes safe, being that constant voice we rely on when things get unpredictable.
