Hackberry Forge

I haven’t been able to do much in the forge lately due to surgery. I was able to get out for a little bit yesterday and started playing with with Cu Mai billet. I’d like to say it was a win, but I used mild steel from Lowe’s for the outer cladding it it has a bunch of cracks. I’ll grind it down an see where it am. Looks like the copper is there. Worst case scenario it will become a gift knife or a personal knife.

Working on this little 3 finger skinner for a Christmas present.
