Well, y'all, I woke up this morning thinking about goals. This is a topic that comes up a lot around our place. The main thing I try to impress on anyone I talk to on this topic is that goals can be wildly different from person to person. Even within our house, we may have different ideas of what success looks like, but it's essential that we communicate and share our ideas.

Around here, at the end each show season with a conversation on the way home about what's our main goal for the upcoming show season. This year is extremely different, as we are stepping away from the Jr. show circuit her in Texas. The flock will transition from a focus on Hunter and Hannah's show careers to supporting the youth in our county and state.

When you start to think about your goals, remember that your goal will be different from someone else's. Success can be defined in many ways; don't use someone else as your bar. Make a goal that is specific to you and work hard to achieve it. You're not always going to meet a specific goal, but that doesn't mean you scrap it. Evaluate what needs to be adjusted, put that into a plan, and put that plan into action!

Keep grinding and don't get outworked!
