Hey there family!!! The previous election was to fill the unexpired term of the former mayor that resigned in October 2012. That's when I took over as Mayor Pro-Tem until I resigned in February to run for mayor in the special election that was held in March with a run-off in April. The term is up and a new election will be held in November for the full 4 year term. God clearly did not want me to only serve 7 months. He has prepared me to serve the full 4 years once elected in November 2013. And...Away we go!!! The campaign is in full effect. I have 2 opponents this time.

Greetings, well the campaign is in full swing! I have 3 opponents. There will be a voter's forum on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, 6:30-8 p.m., at the Forest Park Recreation Center, 803 Forest Parkway, Forest Park, GA 30297. Early voting has started at City Hall, 745 Forest Parkway, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., until Friday, March 15, 2013. The election date is Tuesday, March 19th. If you have friends in Forest Park, GA, please ask them to get out and vote for me. If they can't get out, they can always call city hall at 404-366-4720 to ask for an absentee ballot to be mailed to them.
