Finished a little Machine Embroidery project today. This is from the Kimberbell Home Sewn series - April. Fun project that didn’t take too long to complete. Now on to something else. There’s always something to finish. Next will probably be binding on a quilt and a table runner so I can cross a couple UFO’s off the list.

If you don't know, I'm teaching machine embroidery classes at Cali Quilt Co. Many attendees work on the Kimberbell Digital Dealer Exclusive - Mistletoe Mystery, but you're welcome to bring any machine embroidery project you'd like to tackle. I will be available throughout both days to answer questions and provide any assistance you may need. The classroom is open from 9 AM to 7 PM both days. Come and go whenever you like. You're welcome to leave your machine and supplies overnight. It's the perfect opportunity to make real progress on those projects! I’ve made quite a few quilts tops over the years but always sent them out to be quilted. Finally got brave enough to do it myself using my embroidery machine and Kimberbell Clear Blue Tiles. Had a few bumps along the way, but overall it was pretty easy to do. I probably wouldn’t do this with a big quilt, but for lap quilts or wall hangings this will work! Now to put the binding on and make a label. This will be given to one of my favorite charities - Christmas Quilts for Recovery.

Starting a new BOM at Cali Qulit Co - so far I’m caught up 🤪. This one went together really quick and using my AccuQuilt system to cut made sewing it a breeze. The blocks will be paired with a Kaffe print.

Finally finished the 12 Blocks for the Kona 2025 BOM. I’m a month late and finished the last 6 months in the last 2 weeks but I’m not complaining. Now for the sashing and borders! Let’s get this thing done!
