Bill Curtis Video Production

PROJECT TWO. The other project I found was one that I shot in Summer 1990 for the US Forest Service in Alaska. It was one of two projects that summer that were shot in the old 3/4 inch tape format. This was an interesting project that was never made into a completed video production.
The subject was Fisheries Management Projects being done on each of the ranger districts in both the Tongass and the Chugach National Forests. The footage was compiled onto one tape but nothing was done with it after that point. This is too bad because some of the projects were interesting and the locations, breath-taking. Last week I just edited on an opening title and a few graphics. Some may be interested to note that much of the footage that was shot was videoed within miles of the location of the popular National Geographic reality TV Series "Port Protection".
This footage has never been viewed by any of the biologists that shared their projects 33 years ago.
