The Ultimate Rabbit Hole

Many of us on our spiritual journey delight in chasing knowledge. Our thirst for the next ephinay can be insatiable.

We read book after book, listen to podcasts, watch documentaries, follow this guru and that yogi, all in the desire to understand ourselves.

What if I told you there is another way. The greatest book to read, the greatest mystery to unravel is all inside of you. Your blueprint, the map of your soul is there for the discovering.

Nothing is ever denied to us. Seek and we will find, ask and it will be answered. The kingdom is within US.

The price is stillness. Not an empty mind void of thought, but practiced stillness. Being comfortable with yourself in silence. No entertainment, no purposeful distraction, being OK with yourself by yourself.

Listening to your heart space, ignoring the ramblings of the mind.

You are the ultimate rabbit hole. You are the ultimate discovery. You have and are the answer to everything.

The importance of roots

So many of us walking this spiritual journey tend to become top heavy.

We focus our energies on expanding our third eye and consciousness. We find ourselves seeking more and more wisdom and insights. We pray for more downloads and enlightenment.

We find ourselves traveling down one adventurous rabbit hole after the other, reading books and diving into meditation.

We look for transcendence and ascension, searching the skies for signs and meaning.

All is good and important, but we forget a very important component...

We chose to awaken and expand on Earth in an earthly body. We cannot reach up without reaching down. What tree can survive with only branches and no roots?

Our body cannot exist in the upper chakras alone, we need the solar, sacral, root and earth star chakras. We need to ground and connect to Earth daily. We need to be in nature daily. We need to nourish our bodies with healthy nutrition and clean water daily.

We also need to connect to our Ancestors, plants, animals, family, friends and community. There needs to be a balance of expanding ourselves, branches and roots.

We chose to be HERE, so let's be HERE, feed our FEET as well as our MIND, only then is the HEART and SPIRIT in balance.
