The Refuge

MARCH UPDATE! The Refuge needs to fill a few more positions on the turf staff as we prepare to re-open the course later this year. We're looking to fill immediate positions on the golf and turf staff. GOLF EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED, but not required. What is required is the ability to work as part of a team for a dynamic club management company in the great outdoors.

The new golf course will be connected to the exciting new Refuge Hotel & Conference Center opening later this year. When it re-opens, The Refuge will be one of the most unique recreational experiences in Mississippi! The course has already received a coveted "Environmental Excellence Award" in 2019 and has been nominated for numerous awards for 2020.

Full-time and part-time positions available (full-time positions includes insurance and benefits package). Despite the flooding on Mangum Drive, the golf course is holding up very well. This photo was taken Sunday morning (about 1.4 feet below the projected crest of the floodwaters) showing the creek backed up across the cart path on the par-5 11th hole (old #9) near the green. All greens, tees, and bunkers should remain above the floodwaters and no significant impacts are expected further into the course other than the holes closest to Mangum Drive. Please keep those in the area whose homes and businesses are being impacted by the flood in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you!
