The fun part begins, putting everything back together.

The original 6v electrical system not changed and the headlamps were very dim, with only about 4.8v at the headlight bulbs. The headlight wiring was updated as per 256 Registry article by Ket Sodergren. Relays were installed in the headlight buckets with power wiring direct from the battery. H4 headlights purchased from England were installed. Very bright headlights now.

Metal repairs and replacement were quite extensive. Most of the replacement metal panels are available from several vendors. I purchased most of mine from Stoddard. The quality is good and their return policy, if needed, is great.

I planned on a paint job and minor repairs to the car. However it trurned out to need a total restoration.
