🚿💙 Fresh Start Shower Ministry Featured on WCPO! 💙🚿

Florence Christian Church’s Fresh Start Shower Ministry was featured on WCPO 9 for the incredible impact this ministry is making in our community! 🙌✨ Over the last year alone, the ministry has welcomed more than 12,000 visits to its free shower program—offering dignity, care, compassion, and hope to our neighbors experiencing hardship. 🤝💛

As summer approaches ☀️🔥, the need continues to grow. With many cold-weather assistance programs now ending, our ministry team says support is needed more than ever to continue serving those in need with love and hospitality.

We are so grateful for everyone who volunteers, donates, prays, and supports this important ministry. Together, we are making a difference—one shower, one conversation, and one act of kindness at a time. 🌿✨

💧Fresh Start Shower Ministry Needs: Water Bottles & Tumblers! 💧

As the summer heat begins to rise, our Fresh Start Shower Ministry is looking for new or gently loved water bottles and travel tumblers to bless our Shower Guests. These simple gifts will help keep drinks cool and refreshing during the hottest days ahead—such a simple yet caring way to show care and hospitality to our neighbors. 🤍

✨ Memorial Day Holiday Hours ✨

Please note that Florence Christian Church and the Fresh Start Shower Ministry will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2026 as we take time to honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.

⏰ Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26 at 10:00 AM.

What started as a simple way to help meet basic needs has grown into so much more — a ministry centered around dignity, compassion, hope, and community. Every shower, load of laundry, conversation, cup of coffee, and moment of kindness reminds someone that they are seen, valued, and loved.

This ministry would not be possible without our amazing volunteers, donors, prayer partners, and supporters who continue to show up for our neighbors time and time again. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of so many people in our community.
