Immediate financial assistance is needed in Venezuela following the recent deadly earthquake. The MidSouth GMC has already sent emergency funds to provide immediate aid to those in the most severely affected areas. These funds were taken from the MidSouth Disaster Relief Fund and will need to be replenished so that we can continue to respond quickly to disasters all over the globe.
We are working closely with Venezuela Now, a mission partner of The Global Methodist Church Disaster Relief team.
Donations for disaster relief in Venezuela may be given online at Florencemethodist.org/give or in the offering plate or dropped off at church during office hours. Mark your gift "Missions." Florence Methodist Church will be sending financial support to the Conference Office for disbursement to Venezuela Now.
