This is Superintendent Dr. Jimmy Shaw. In today's very early morning hours, we received a light but steady dusting of winter precipitation. While our main roads seem in decent condition, some of our secondary roads have been impacted by this early morning precipitation. Because of the extremely low temperatures of today, in combination with this unexpected early morning precipitation, Florence City Schools will close today, Thursday, February 20. 2025.
