Florence Track XC

After stellar performances at our Home Meet on Wednesday and at the Epic Tourneys XC Invitational just yesterday, Blayze Coronel and Elsie Hansen took part in the 2024 Coolidge Days 5K this morning. Blayze cruised to a 1st overall finish in 19:23. Elsie finished in 24:29.

Coach Lewis even took part, finishing in a distant 2nd place to Blayze. FHS Swim Team standout, Ivy Hansen, finished 3rd overall and was the 1st female finisher this morning. Congrats to all participants this morning and a very special congratulations to our FHS student-athletes who took part in this morning’s 5K!

Blayze Coronel (Fr) continued his impressive 2024 season with his medal finish today at the Epic Tourneys XC Invitational at Crossroads Park. In a preview of the course for Sectionals, Blayze set his new PR with his 6th Place finish in the Small School Varsity Boys’ Race (17:21.1). Congratulations on another great performance! Go Blayze, Go FHS XC, and Go Big Red!!!

The time has come! FHS XC Home Meet, 10/9/24 at 4:00pm! Come show some support for our student-athletes as we host ALA Anthem South, Casa Grande Union, Coolidge, and Miami. Start and finish lines located within the confines of the FHS Football Stadium.
