Hattie continues to represents the agricultural industry with excellence both in and out of the show ring. What impressed me most was that when I asked how she did, she never said “I”—she said “we.” These accomplishments are a testament not only to Hattie’s dedication and skill, but also to the bond she has developed with her horse.

From the 98th Alabama FFA State Convention on Friday to a Tennessee Valley Horse Association show on Saturday. Mr. Ball and I had the opportunity to see our students Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAE) in action this weekend. Before the show was called due to storms our members competed in 14 different classes.

Hattie Carter competed in 10 different classes earning a 1st place finish in six classes, 2nd place in two classes, and 3rd in three classes.

Ellie Owens competed in 8 different classes earning one 1st place finish, two 3rd place finishes, one 4th place finish, and three 5th place finishes.

Bella Rae Howell competed in 11 different classes earning a 1st place finish in one class, 2nd in five classes, 3rd in two classes, 4th in two classes and 5th in one class.
