A Big Thank You to our Partners at Financial Plus Credit Union and Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis

Today, Financial Plus Credit Union awarded $110,000 in total funding to Metro Community Development to support a new housing project in Flint. The funding includes a $100,000 grant awarded through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis as well as an additional $10,000 donation from Financial Plus.

The grant will support Metro's modular home development program in the Met Hills neighborhood, covering the remaining costs needed to complete the project. Upon completion, the program will help four families achieve their dream of homeownership with affordable monthly payments. Beyond supporting individual families, the development will strengthen an existing neighborhood and serve as a catalyst for future re-development.
