Genevieve and I have been working on getting more involved with Michigan foster kids. We are honored to share that this upcoming summer we've committed to being volunteers with a local charity called LOVE FOR A CHILD KIDS CAMP!
Love for a Child is a Michigan 501C3 nonprofit that helps kids in foster care who have suffered from different forms of abuse, abandonment and neglect. At summer camp each kid is treated like royalty, allowing them to be kids and create positive lifelong memories. Our team consists of 75 trauma- trained, well informed, volunteers, all dedicating a week of their summer with the goal of changing the hearts of these children forever!
Love For a Child works year round to make sure every child who attends is able to do so, free of cost. This is where you come in. Our fundraising goal for this summer is $500 each. Every dollar raised allows us to make sure every detail of their experience has that royalty we speak of.
