In honor of Black History Month, we acknowledge Claudnyse D. Holloman, the President & CEO of Voices for Children Advocacy Center, where her focus is on helping children and families who have been victims of child abuse, neglect, and human trafficking. She is a dedicated advocate for the well-being of children and has actively worked to expand services and improve laws for child survivors, solidifying Voices for Children Advocacy Center as a leading organization in the Mid-Michigan area.

In honor of Black History Month, we acknowledge Leon El-Alamin, the founder and Executive Director of the M.A.D.E. Institute. His organization’s mission is to provide transitional housing and comprehensive programming for at-risk youth and returning citizens through workforce development, social advocacy, urban farming, training and research, and violence prevention.

Next week, Educare Flint is hosting an Early Childhood Education Apprenticeship information session led by GST Michigan Works! All early childhood education providers are welcome to attend on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 6:00pm. Join us to learn about the apprenticeship training model's transformative potential!
