Mechanical Assembler Job Description:
- Use machinist skills to build new industrial equipment.
- Fabricate new and repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Shows proficiency in reading/interpreting prints and can produce shop sketches for the build or repair task at hand.
- Determine any necessary changes in the dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting new or used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments during a build.
- Locate the source of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.

Mechanical Assembler Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of related experience preferred, and a HS/GED required.
- Technical process understanding
- Excellent mechanical and technical skills.
- Thorough knowledge of machinist methodologies.
- Uses machinist/millwright skills to build industrial equipment.
- Ability to frequently walk, stand for extended periods (8-10 hours a day), balance, stoop, crouch, kneel, push, pull, twist, turn, and lift while performing functions of the position.
- Comfortable with cleaning and quality control
- Able to reach overhead and climb ladders as needed.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.

Roll Forming Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machines used in the production process
- Set up machines according to specifications

- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet standards

Roll Forming Operator Requirements:
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficient in using hand tools and welding equipment
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math calculations
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Metal Processor Duties:
- Operate and maintain our CNC plasma cutting table (Torchmate 6x10 with 150-amp system)
- Load material using cranes or forklifts
- Run pre-programmed cut files (CAD team provides all files)
- Inspect and deburr parts after cutting
- Support operation of additional fabrication equipment: Accurshear, Hydraulic Press Brake, Dragon Tube & Pipe Processing Machine, Horizontal Band Saw
- Follow job travelers and quality requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Communicate with the Shop Manager and Leads to support daily priorities

Metal Processor Requirements:
- Fabrication or plasma table experience in a job shop or steel environment
- Able to read blueprints and follow traveler instructions
- Experience or willingness to train on shear, brake, saws, and tube equipment
- Comfortable using cranes and forklifts
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to take initiative
