This past Sunday, I preached that no matter who won this election, God is God and will continue to remain with us and call us to be God’s people.

I know that there are some who are happy with today’s election results. I know others are devastated and full of anxiety. If you find yourself struggling and in need of someone to talk to, rage to, cry with, or just to sit with, I am here. My inbox is open. Please reach out and know that you are not alone. The world is a better place for having you in it.

Yesterday at .usa, one of our small groups made Fairy Gardens! It was my first time making such, and our lovely coordinator and master gardener, G, saw fit to get me a gnome for the occasion. Friends, if you come by the office, you can introduce yourself to G. E. Nome, and my fairies (who are yet to be named). Now, let’s see if I can keep these succulents alive. 🤣

.usa celebrated the Gifts of Women in today’s worship service. It’s a rare day that I get to sit out in the pews as a part of the congregation, but I tell you what, experiencing worship today is a reminder that we are all called, and we all have gifts and skills that we can share.

I’m grateful for all of the people who made today such a special and wonderful day (many not pictured because I still had parts of worship to do).

So here’s to strong women! May be know them. May we be them. May we raise them.
