First bass of 2024 was a meatball. Over the chocolate milk. It’s been TOUGH out there.

It’s been a minute. Lots of rain and blown out lakes. Catching toads like this one from 12/29/23 and dreaming of schooling bass have me itchin’ to hit the reset button. Can’t wait. 🤔

First time fishing sub 50 degree water temps this season. I caught 200 lbs of catfish, but just the 1 bass, it’s a start. Fun time fishing the first winter series event.
