Good Sunday Morning Y'all from the base of Cedar Rock Falls along the Cat Gap Trail in the Pisgah National Forest...

To reach this 20-foot waterfall it will take a moderate 1.8 mile out and back hike and a small bit of climbing. The falls bare off to the left of the Cat Gap Trail in the Pisgah National Forest of Western North Carolina...

You start your journey at the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education/Fish Hatchery by crossing the barricaded bridge to the left of the center and taking the Cat Gap Trail that will lead up immediately to your right...

The trail is marked with orange blazes on the trees, follow them up the ridge to cross a man bridge which will lead you across a service road...

Cross the service road and continue on for about .5 miles until you reach a small trail baring down to the left, you should be able to heat the falls at this point...

Follow the path down the hill to a large mossy rock face and climb up the rocks to see Cedar Rock Falls below. You can easily climb down to the base of the falls where multiple flat rocks lay to setup your lunch on...
