Proceeds used to purchase 💓AED's💓 for our community!

Knowing WHAT to do when a heart attack or other cardiac incident occurs ... and having access to EQUIPMENT that can make a difference matters. That's why, for the last four years, King's Daughters has used the proceeds from the sale of our Heart Month shirt to purchase Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and donate them to organizations throughout our service area.

AEDs can be lifesavers, especially in a sudden cardiac arrest, also known as sudden cardiac death. SCD is the abrupt loss of heart function, breathing, and consciousness. Although people often use heart attack and cardiac arrest interchangeably, they are not the same! When SCD occurs, an AED can deliver an electrical shock (defibrillation) to restart the heart.

Over the past four years, sale of our heart month T-shirts has helped us donate 112 AEDs throughout our communities. You can help!
