“For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭21‬

I love to hear good singing and shouting. I love to have prayer in the altars of the house of God. But I get on the edge of my seat when a God-called man gets up and preaches the word of God in power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost...There is nothing that God has called, chosen and confirmed as his choice of communication than to speak through a willing vessel. Choirs don’t have the same impact as a preacher has on a sin-sick soul. There ain’t a committee, treasurer or secretary who can change the atmosphere than when a preacher obeys God and preaches “Thus saith the Lord”.

In the preaching I’ve been set under, There are times when there’s a holy hush and you can feel the conviction of God when an anointed voice just whispers. But can I tell you I’ve heard some of God’s men get up with gravel throats, backbones like a saw log and hearts with the love of God shedding abroad. The old-time preachers have the word of God like a fire shut up in there bones, and the Holy Ghost gives a passion to see someone saved helping them to preach Heaven sweet and Hell hot!

I’m glad I got put in to this same ministry, but I can tell you there are men gone before me who the Lord has used to preach Christ and him crucified in ways I hope to have a double portion of.

I challenge you one more time to thank your preacher if he’s stayed true to the word and prayer…And thank God for him!

Bless Y’all, Brother Alex

“All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬ ‭

I’ve heavily wrestled about writing this, but but the Spirit has really impressed me to say something…I’ve seen in recently among people the debate among topics like Halloween, Let alone other clear-cut subjects such as strong-drink and fornication. The real warfare is not over whether the Lord says something is sin, it’s when we go back and forth on how much we can get a way with it and still be right. How far we can go to the line as if we know our limits with sin.

Before I start I’m not going to prefrence that I’m not coming on here to address the specific matters. I want to come on here and address something that I think is more dangerous - The fact that confrontation is brought about over things with the emphasis of whether we’re able to make it to heaven if we do them or not.

“Well, I don’t think I’m going to hell if I…”. This type of phrasing is the vocabulary of lukewarmness. The question is not, “Can I do this and still go to heaven?”, it’s ”Will this glorify God?”. Our lives and bodies are not our own. So, when you are questioning whether or not you can pull a fast one on an all-knowing God, you are positioning yourself to transgress the word of God when you neglect his glory in your decision making. I’ve heard this manner of conversation surrounding different topics, but we must be sober about how our lives can be a stumbling block to someone receiving the truth, let alone our own soul.

Please do not fall into the trap of hearing someone’s warning or opinion that’s not some shareable “one-liner” on Facebook, and label it and “legalistic”, “religious” and “mean spirited”. If you’re offended over it, ask if that’s just your flesh talking…Church, Please examine all things and ask if it will glorify God before you fall into temptation. Pray and watch! There is much deception and seduction in these last days.

Test every spirit, not your limits.

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭
