The third day of hiking was by far the most rewarding. The main trail to see one of the 25 remaining glaciers was closed so the only way for 4 novice hikers to see one was to hike 14+ miles. I’ll be honest, I didn’t think we’d get it done but all 4 of us did and I couldn’t be more proud. The middle section up the side of a mountain was only 8-tenths of a mile but took an hour to climb the steep slope Called the Garden Wall. The views from the top were amazing!

Last week at Glacier National Park was amazing! The first hike was to Avalanche Lake via the Trail of the Cedars and it did not disappoint.

I haven’t shot the moon in awhile and these clear days he’s just been begging me to take a shot.
