A new Epoxy Garage Floor

We are working in Fishers today prepping and putting down a moisture v***r barrier (MVB) epoxy basecoat. It's 22 degrees. The overhead doors will completely close when we're done today and we'll be using a heater to make sure the epoxy cures.

We use the best products and the best preparation and install techniques for the longest lasting floor ever.

Yesterday, we prepped this garage by grinding and shotblasting and then applied a moisture v***r barrier epoxy. It dried overnight and now, we'll flake it and top coat it.

Finished up this 3 car garage at Geist today. Forgot to get final pics with the doors open, but got these.

Greg and Beth were great to work with.

Had to remove some 20 year old epoxy that was supposed to be light gray but had faded pretty bad, kind of green, and had stated to come up in spots. But it was a bear to grind off. We ground the floor AND shot blasted it to get a rough CSP 4 concrete surface profile.

Put down a new Moisture V***r Barrier (MVB) Epoxy basecoat last night to dry overnight. We never flake into the base cost. Then today, we put down a coat of polyaspartic with Gravel color flake and finally topcoated it with clear polyaspartic.

Polyaspartic is UV stable so it never yellows and never peels up from hot tire pickup up.

97 degree says. It was hot.

We trim around water heaters, pipes, furnaces, laundry sinks, etc. in order to finish the floor. Some customers tell us to just make a straight line in front of it and omit that area, but doing the whole floor complete looks so much better.

Polyaspartic kitchen floor. Most of the time, we're using epoxy to get a metallic look. We recently did this kitchen floor in a rental property. Previously, it was sheet vinyl that water had started to get under and discolor. Plus, tenants had poked holes in it. With a seamless floor, it's seamless and water resistant. Nothing really sticks to it and it's super easy to clean. And it can be updated by sanding and applying another coat. Polyaspartic doesn't yellow in sunlight like epoxy and it's harder and more scratch resistant.

While we were there, we did the entry also.
