Hancock County Farmers' Market will be open this afternoon. Head inside to stay cool.

Thursday Market Update

The farmers’ market will be held inside Marathon Center for the Performing Arts this Thursday, July 2, from 4 to 6 pm.

This indoor market will feature plenty of produce, including strawberries, tomatoes, southern peaches, sweet cherries, greens, lettuce, squash, zucchini, beets, herbs, radishes, turnips, salad mix, and more.

Garnish your living space with small farm-grown flowers.

Keep your kitchen cool with baklava layered with local honey.

Power of Produce tokens will be available for children ages 4–15. We are grateful to Blanchard Valley Health System for launching the program this season and supporting families at the market.

Ohio Direction, credit, and debit card users may purchase tokens at the market through a partnership with United Way of Hancock County.

Renewal by Andersen of NW Ohio, a new market sponsor, will be at the market with ice-cold water for anyone who stops by.

OSU Extension Hancock County will be at the market with fruit-infused water and tips for staying hydrated.

Parking at the festival grounds will be open so visitors can park close to the MCPA entrance.

Please plan for the heat, and consider shopping for someone who may need to stay cool at home.

Pets are not permitted inside MCPA. Service animals are always welcome.

Thank you to Marathon Center for the Performing Arts and everyone helping make Thursday’s small market safe and comfortable.
