Sgt Jason Eiden, UAV Coordinator of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Bruce Chambers, Tiifin University Drone Academy and Owner of the An Aerial Viewpoint presented on Emergency Response: Drone First Responders at UF’s 24th Annual IA Forum.

Computer Science Choose Ohio First and Schmidlapp Scholars presented their poster entitled “Hour of Code: Embracing the Future of AI”. The 2025 COF Scholars include: Grant Bryan, Hassan Sesay, Zach Mitchell, Wesley Stinehelfer, Malea Bess, Grant Rider, Daniel Kamara, Chase Otto, Kayla Bennett, Benjamin Strohmaier, and Eugene McCall. The 2025 Schmidlapp Scholars include: Lidia Laskova, Reilly Cozette, and Mille Berg.

Computer Science software engineering team comprised of Simon Derstine, Patrick Rockow, Elina Ivanova, and Kenneth Snyder presented their project entitled “Development of Research Assistant with Adaptive AI Software: Enhancing Academic Research Efficiency” at UF’s Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity.
