This past week we hosted a Transition Summer Camp. Over the course of four days, the campers learned a variety of skills and information that will benefit them as they make their transition to adulthood. They learned the importance of hygiene, self-advocacy, technology that can be used to live more independently, kitchen safety and healthy eating, financial literacy and banking, healthy relationships, swimming safety and lastly, fire safety.
Thank you to all the local entities that hosted our campers, as well as those that took the time to help out - they had a blast!
