Big things have been happening on our small farm, and this season is one we couldn’t be more excited about!

There is a lot going on behind the scenes with us working to grow, pack and market tree ripe Georgia Citrus. This year, we have many different varieties that we are looking forward to harvesting. As we continue preparing for the upcoming season, we want to give everyone a quick update on what to expect this fall!

Our famous “Georgia Kiss” trees are booming with sugar sweet citrus. These trees were hit hard in the previous winter, but we are excited to say that they have made a full recovery.

The original Franklin Farms Satsumas are expected to start being ready for harvesting in either late October or early November. The trees are looking healthy and we can’t wait for them to be ready!

This is also going to be the year of the Bingo. Bingos are a type of tangerine that started at the University of Florida. From the moment we first tried them, we knew that it was a citrus we had to share. We are currently expecting to start harvesting late November or early December.

A few varieties that are worth mentioning and we are also excited about is our Golden Nuggets, Tangelos, Pinkfrost Grapefruit, Sugar Belles, Paige Tangerines, and Tangos! These are all citrus that you can expect to see ready this fall.
