Recent service call for a customer with a central vacuum system that was moving a wall.

We re-routed the piping going to the inlet valve installed on that wall and relocated it nearby. We also made sure that the relocated inlet valve would still reach the same areas with the customers existing 30 foot hose.

I think the dog wanted to come hitch a ride with us!

Service call on an system that had poor suction.

Upon closer inspection and following the noise of air escaping in the wall, we found a fitting that was never glued to the mounting plate when the system was originally installed. After 20 years of regular use, it came apart and caused suction loss throughout the entire home. Fortunately, we were able to repair the loose fitting without having to open the wall!

Replaced a section of central vacuum pipe in the attic above the garage of this home. When piping is not properly insulated in a non-climate controlled space, it can cause condensation which results in a nasty clog!

We cut out the bad section of pipe and covered it with insulation so it doesn’t clog again. Now the entire system has suction throughout the house again.

A longtime customer recently purchased a new home down the street from her current home that we installed a central vacuum system in several years ago. She didn’t want to give up her power unit, so she had us uninstall it and reinstall it in her new house. We then took the old Beam unit and installed it in the old house.

Fortunately her new home already had an existing system so that saved her some money this time around!
