Festus Fire Department

We have received several calls for smoke in the area. There is a prescribed burn today at Mark Twain National Forest that is 1,134 acres in Reynolds County. We do have crews out checking the area, but we believe that this is the source of all the smoke in the city and beyond. Additional Information can be found on USDA Forest Service website.
