The CCFD's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) summer class begins next Wednesday, August 15 and runs for eight consecutive weeks, ending on Wednesday, October 3. Classes are from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Fire Department Headquarters/EOC located at 1115 SE 9th Avenue. Students will learn how to take care of themselves, their families, and their neighbors before, during, and after an emergency when first responders are not quickly available.
