The City wants to let residents know that FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency has issued an update (or Letter Of Map Revision LOMR) to the flood maps for the City of Fernley.

🗺️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱: Certain areas along HWY 95A have been updated from a "Zone A" to "Zone AE", which now has defined flood elevations. The area on the east side has been designated Zone AO, meaning shallow flooding may occur in this area and new floodplain rules may apply.
🔍 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮: Residents can view the revised maps at City Hall, on our City website, or by contacting the City Manager’s Office.
