The day so far…

Burn out among people that deals with animals is very real. Most people don’t stop to think how much energy and time goes into caring for your pets. There is no schedule, no weekends, no regulation. It can create a situation where you no longer see people, have a life of your own, no time for anything other than upkeep and more animals.

Don’t get me wrong, I love every single animal I care for. They are like children for me. But when they become the only thing you know anymore, it makes one stop, and try and see where they lost themselves.

I know I’m lost now. In a sea of fur, food, and walks. I no longer know what day or month it is, not unless I look. I no longer have goals, projects, or anything of substance. I don’t know how to fix this. I have obligations to my clients, it’s not my business to modify. A little understanding would be helpful.
