We are thrilled that the city is making much needed updates to our stormwater system ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
The kids love waching the workers and their big equipment digging and moving dirt and rock ๐๐ฉต
Please be mindful of the road closures when coming down to Ash &3rd this week! ๐๐ผ

To all of our families that will be starting camp with us next week, we will use Brightwheel - the app that you used to register for camp - for all communications.
๏ฟผPlease make sure your child brings a lunch, waterbottle, bugspray and sunscreen every day and label all items.
Especially during art camp, please know that clothes may, and probably will, get dirty! ๐จ ๐ฉตโ๐ผ
On another note, we just received an email from the city regarding road closures and we apologize for any inconvenience with traffic and/or parking issues ๐๐๐
While the stormwater project is absolutely essential, there is never a convenient time for road closures ๐ ๐ง
The stormwater project is progressing on Ash Street in both directions now! Work will be moving into the intersection of S. 3rd Street and Ash Street beginning Monday, June 8, closing the intersection for about 3 days. Once the intersection has reopened, the block of Ash Street between S. 3rd and S. 4th Streets will shut down (estimated to begin Thursday, June 11).
Concurrently, work will occur under the railroad crossing to eventually cross Front Street (closure TBD, approximately 10 days out).
Key Changes to Traffic Flow:
S. 3rd Street from Centre to Beech will be closed to through traffic. If you park on S. 3rd between Centre and Ash, you will not be able to exit out the correct way on the one-way street.
If you take trash cans to S. 3rd for pickup, please bring them to Centre or Ash (in a non-construction area) as the trash truck will not be able to pick up on 3rd.
Once work is between S. 3rd and 4th, driveways on that block will be inaccessible. Please park on S. 3rd (as it will be reopened) or S. 4th Streets.
Thank you all for your patience. Please let me know if you have any questions.
