On February 23rd, 2023, Steven Pijut, Associate Director of The Writing Center and Speaking Studio, will be leading “The Logistics of Poster Presentations,” a workshop for students interested in presenting at the Graduate Research Symposium. Geared towards students who are unfamiliar with poster presentations but open to all, the workshop will teach students how to design, create, print and set up posters to effectively communicate their research topic, questions, methodologies, and results. The workshop will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Graduate Center (Danforth University Center 300).

Join the Graduate Student Senate this Valentine's Day to create something special. There will be a card making session in the Graduate Center (DUC 300) on Monday, February 13, from 2-4:30pm. The cards will be distributed to nursing homes in the community. We will provide all materials, as well as snacks and refreshments. Registration is now open for the 28th Annual Graduate Research Symposium! This event is open to graduate and professional students of all disciplines and fields that seeks to showcase the breadth and depth of graduate research being produced at Washington University. Presenters will be grouped by category or discipline and scored based on the clarity, aesthetics, and content of their posters, as well as their presentation skills. The top three highest-scoring presenters in each category will be awarded cash prizes.
