Occupational Therapy in Pediatrics
Occupational therapy (OT) helps children develop the skills they need to grow, learn, and participate in everyday activities. Pediatric OTs support kids in areas like fine motor skills (writing, using utensils), sensory processing, coordination, and self-care tasks such as dressing and feeding.
They work with children who may have developmental delays, autism, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, physical disabilities, or injuries. Through play-based and engaging activities, OTs help children build independence, confidence, and the ability to succeed at home, in school, and in their community.
