We just wrapped up this year's Summer Arts Academy for students in grades 5–8, and we couldn't have asked for a more creative, imaginative group of young artists!

A huge thank you to Kaddatz Galleries for creating this amazing summer opportunity and for supporting arts education in our community. We had an absolute blast working with these talented kids!

This year's theme was Minnesota Adventure: a hands-on, story-driven workshop where students explored Minnesota's landscapes, wildlife, history, and imagination through clay.

Throughout the week, students created pinch pots, coil and slab sculptures, pottery wheel projects, journaled, created illustrations, and even imagined their own magical adventures across Minnesota. They explored forests, rivers, villages, hidden places, mysterious artifacts, and exciting characters, turning each day's project into part of a larger story.

Thank you to all of the families for sharing your amazing young artists with us, and congratulations to every student on an outstanding week. We hope this adventure is just the beginning of many more creative journeys!

This Sunday Kids Class we’ll be creating handmade clay mugs. Families can work together on one special mug or each participant can create their own unique piece.

Another exciting workshop working with Minnesota Veterans Home. These guys and gals bring energy and excitment to our workshop! We love it!

This week we completed three sgraffito planter carving workshops with students at !

We love bringing these high-level, hands-on art experiences to such talented students. Thank you for helping spread the word and making it possible to share this with over 100 participants! 🤩🧑‍🎨👩‍🎨
