Sunnyhill Inc. receives Funding from The Productive Living Board of St. Louis County

At its May board meeting, the Productive Living Board of St. Louis County (PLB) approved a $2,276,611 investment in Sunnyhill Inc.'s Independent living and advocacy programs.

In FY27, PLB approved $31,787,562 in total community investments supporting more than 4,600 individuals and families across St. Louis County. These publicly funded services help residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) live more independently and participate fully in their communities.

Featuring a spinning Rubik’s Cube filled with the faces and personal “I Am” statements from our Sunnyhill Community Members, this video reminds us that individuals with developmental disabilities are so much more than labels. They are artists. Leaders. Friends. Dreamers. Athletes. Creators. They are unique, vibrant individuals with voices that deserve to shine.

The video also features an original song titled “I Am,” inspired directly by the real “I Am” statements shared by our Sunnyhill Community Members. Every lyric reflects their strength, individuality, and humanity.
