Projecto Honduras built a stadium used for various community events. The stadium hosts meetings for local cattle ranchers and gatherings organized by the mayor. It has a capacity to accommodate around 300 people at a time. The stadium features cement benches and a court used for basketball and futsal (indoor soccer). It serves an important role in the community with activities nearly every night.

Projecto Honduras volunteer teams build and renovate park toys. Park toys often require complete overhauls due to the heavy use by children and the effects of weather. This necessitates rebuilding or replacing the play equipment approximately every two years. In this instance, it had been about eight years since the last major repair, indicating that significant work was required by the team for the park's upkeep. The park is important. People often come to the clinic as family units. While the mom/dad/grandparent wait in line to be seen at the clinic (it can be a long wait), the children have something to do.

Projecto Honduras volunteer teams organize various activities, including putting on a music camp, painting, basketball, soccer, and storytelling. Volunteer teams are responsible for bringing all the materials and supplies needed for their activities. Teams create positive and engaging experiences for the participants, which raises the overall community. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering for a medical or humanitarian team.
