Alumni Story: Cameron Brewer 🌱
“Growing up, I was kind of developer adjacent without realizing it.” – Cameron Brewer
Cameron Brewer grew up in San Antonio surrounded by development conversations at home. His father spent 30 years leading downtown management as head of the Downtown Alliance San Antonio, giving Cameron an early window into how cities are shaped and supported.
Cameron’s introduction to the Incremental Development Alliance started at an Oklahoma City Urban Land Institute (ULI) event-the Latina Urbanism Summit-which explored differences in development and redevelopment in Latin communities in Oklahoma City. One of the panelists, Monte Anderson, a former IncDev instructor, delivered a presentation that made a lasting impression on Cameron and ultimately shifted how he thought about development.
